Hi all I back with my favorite most used products from
February.
February Favorites
February was kind of a sucky month for me. It has been so
freakin’ cold and my arthritis meds stopped working for me which put me in an
instant flare up. I have started new meds so hopefully I will be feeling better
soon.
I have kept February pretty simple in terms of products.
I needed stuff that is fast, easy to apply, and long lasting. Because when you’re
achy touch-ups take a backseat.
For the Face:
Again the Lise Watier Teint Age Control Supreme is a
favorite. I love how this medium coverage foundation has a semi-dewy finish. I will
be posting a review later on this month about the Lise Watier Teint Age
Control.
MAC ProLongwear Concealer in NW20 - This stuff is so
awesome. It covers everything, stays put and doesn’t crease. I even use it as
an eye primer.
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray – like I
mentioned before, I need my makeup to last as long as possible as I didn’t have
the energy to keep up with touch-ups. The All Nighter Setting Spray makes sure
that my makeup lasts for the whole work day looking great. It helps set
everything a nice finish. I have had this for awhile but I only started using
last month. What was I waiting for?
The blush I have been reaching for the most this month
has been the Balm’s Frat Boy. It is a great peachy pink. It is pretty pigmented
so a little goes a long way.
On My Eyes:
The main palette I have been reaching for is my Urban
Decay Naked Basics. Simple and fast! I love my Basics palette. I have a review
of it here.
MAC Paint Pot in Painterly - I have been using this as a
base to even out my tired eyes. If I forget to apply the Mac ProLongwear
concealer on my lids then this is what I have been using.
Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze - Yeah
sometimes I get real lazy and just use this cream shadow. It is gorgeous even
on its own. Just apply to the lid with your finger and blend out in the crease
and you are good to go!
I almost embarrassed to show my Rimmel Scandal Eyes
Waterproof Kohl liner in Nude. My dog got a hold of it and chewed the end off
of it. I sprayed it down with some Beauty So Clean and replaced the lid and it
is good again. Albeit a little beaten up. But this liner is great for the lower
waterline to wake up some tired eyes.
Lastly for the eyes, I am back to using my MAC Fluidline
in Blacktrack. I find this so easy to apply and it lasts. Gel liners rock!
On the Lips
L’Oreal Colour Caress Wet Shine Stain in Rose On and On –
I really like this shade but on its own it is very drying on my lips. So now I
make sure I really prime lips with some EOS Lip Balm or my new Epic Green Apple
lip balm. Both help this stain to work on me. It’s a bit of a pain to apply
balm before a stain/gloss but better than super chapped lips in three days!
I can’t forget to mention my favorite lip liner,
Annabelle lip liner in Demure. This is the perfect liner for a pinky nude lip.
Sometimes I just wear it on its own.
I did forget to take a picture of my primer. It hasn’t
changed for the past few months. It is the Annabelle CC Cream of course! I
think it will be on my favorites list for a long time!
February has been pretty much all about simple. I can get
ready in 10 minutes using these products. Which happened a lot last month LOL.
I cannot wait for spring and warmer weather. What about you guys? Sick of
winter already?

Blog Name Update:
Just to let you guys know, I have made the change to all
my social media to reflect my new blog name/url; www.themakeupnut.com. On
Twitter and Instagram, you will see me popping up as @themakeupnut. Bloglovin’
was great and made the update for me. So I will be popping up there as ‘themakeupnut’
too.
But I had to create a new Facebook page for the new blog
name. I requested to have my page name changed but I was DENIED! I had over 200
likes so you have to apply for a name change. My new name was too different
from 99Raina99 so they said I had to create a new page. So now I have new page:
Themakeupnut. My goal this week is to re-Like everyone pages again LOL. AGGHH
Facebook you suck sometimes!
