Clinique Cheek Pop Plum Pop

Oh I had a hard time deciding which one to get. I wanted them all but I limited myself to one. Not quite Sophie’s Choice but it was gut wrenching LOL

I saw these earlier this month popping up a bunch of beauty blogs, then on Instagram. I fell in love with the gerbera daisy design embossed on these blushes. I adore gerbera daisies. Yes, I was completely suckered in by the packaging!

I had tried earlier this month to get these but my SDM Beauty Boutique did not have them in yet. So earlier this week I moseyed on over to The Bay during lunch and stalked the Clinique counter. I didn’t see them there either. GASP! I had to ask the sales associate if they had them in. They did but the samples were hidden way at the back of the blush tray. Whew crisis averted!

The Cheek Pops come in four shades; Berry Pop, Plum Pop, Ginger Pop and Peach Pop and retail for $24 CDN/$21 USD. I was able to swatch them all and decided on Plum Pop. I don’t have a cool pink blush quite like this SO I HAD TO HAVE IT!

Clinique Cheek Pop Plum Pop

Plum Pop is true cool light pink. It looks like a cream blush but is a powder. After ohhing and ahhing over my new precious, I did an immediate swatch fest on my arm. At first it went on a bit sheer but after two swipes it was a perfect amount of blush. It does have a slight satin finish but nothing that is too noticeable. I was a little shocked at how small these blushes were. The actual pan is about 1 ½ inch radius with the cute clear plastic case being 2 inches. Sweet but tiny.
