December 2013 Topbox
Hello my friends, I hope everyone had a great relaxing
holiday. I finally did after Christmas was done and over with. I don’t know but
I just wasn’t feeling the season this year. I guess that was because I HAD to
work! Ugh HAHA But in all seriousness I hope you dolls have a great New Year
and meet all the goals you set forth for yourself! Maybe I should do a post on
my goals for the New Year. I call them goals not resolutions. Goals seem more
attainable than resolutions. Resolution sounds so final. Annndd now I am
rambling…
For la December, I opted for the regular Topbox. None of
the privé
choices excited me other that the Givenchy one but I already had that….maybe I
should have went for another one? Hmmmm
Anyhow, I wasn’t excited about the December Topbox I
received. I was hoping for the red Cuccio lacquer but got a gold glitter (which
is an exact dupe for Milani’s Gold Glitz that I already have).

yet availableThis was the one item out of the box that I loved. I love the smell of coconuts. Plusssss it tastes good too. Yeah I was tasting it on my lips. Numnum. I find this lip butter pretty nourishing. I actually found this one a bit more emollient than my BodyShop lip butter. I looked today and this lip butter was still not available on the Belvada website. I think the SRP is $10. Body Shop’s lip butter is $4.50. How much better is this lip butter? Well not double the price better.

Full Size: $10I kind of mentioned it a bit earlier in the post but I was hoping to get the red lacquer that was going on around out there but I ended getting the gold glitter. Don't get me wrong, it is a good polish - a thick gold glitter. It will be great for blinging up my nails but I already have Milani’s Gold Glitz which is an exact dupe for this one. Milani’s bottle is even shaped the same albeit a little bit smaller.

Full size: .5oz/$25.95I don’t like these types of samples. I hate twisting the cap off and then what? What do you do with the leftover?
But I will try it out on my forehead and see if it works. I am starting to get some fine lines there. Oh the joys of getting older... :( But this a temporary fix not a cure for the actual wrinkle.
Not one of the better TopBoxes. I am kind of wishing I
went for the Benefit Privé TopBox for January seeing how December’s regular box kind
of fizzled.
What were your thoughts on the December TopBox?

I went for the Lash Em Box just because. I figured I'd give my baby lashes a boost with their "special sauce serum" ;-)
ReplyDeleteI thought I liked the Modern Muse fragrance at first, but then as the day wore on, it just didn't gel with me. I didn't like how it smelled after a couple of hours.
I think I went for the regular Topbox for January, but in all honesty, I can't remember! December was just too nutty!
