Ipsy Glam Bag July 2013
Oh what a crazy annoying week it has been! The central
fire alarm that alerts all the condos in my building has been malfunctioning
and the alarm has been going off periodically this past week. They cannot seem
to find the where the short is that is causing it and the fire department has
been here three times in three days. LOL I have to say that alarm would wake up
the dead! It is so annoyingly LOUD. And my root canal fell out. What the hell?
I was just watching TV and plooop it just fell out. That is not good. Not good
at all.
So enough of my troubles, let's get on to Ipsy! July’s theme was Beach Beauty. The makeup bag was hot
pink see through plastic bag. I think I am going to use this in my purse. I like using
see-through makeup bags for my purse so I can quickly see what I am looking
for.

These actually come in a kit of 6 on the pop beauty website. They must be good as the kit is currently sold out! The colour I got was Coral Crush which I think is really lovely. It is moisturizing and I like the slight minty tingle it has. I think this colour would go great with the Starlooks lip pencil I got last month from Ipsy :)

This little 3 pan mini palette is just a sampling of an
eyeshadow from each of the California Collection palettes; San Francisco,
Malibu and Hollywood. While I found the mini palettes pretty cute, I found
quality of the pigmentation of these shadows to be a just alright. I am ot sure
if I would be purchasing the palettes.

Sexy Hair products and I certainly need some humidity proof hair spray right
now! I hope it works! We can get Sexy Hair in Canada as well. I know Chatters and some select
Shoppers Drug Marts carry it.

Ohh this smells good. So lime-y. I played around with on
the back of my hand and you can really feel the grittiness in this scrub. It
has Dead Sea salt and volcanic sand, grape-seed oil and vitamin E in it. Plus
it vegan and well everything else free! I can wait to try it.

Oh we got some different items! I got the BigSexyHair Soy Texture spray and a coral Nailtini polish.
ReplyDeleteThat royally sucks about your root canal!!! Oh god, I would be so upset especially since I hate the dentist with a passion! I threw up into that "sucky tube" when I was 16 and haven't been the same since!
Did you get the pop lip crayon? I kind like how moiturizing it is.
DeleteI hate the dentist too! That is why I am so freaked the week. I know it is a 2 hour procedure to get it fixed but the big thing is I now think the doctors will move my surgery date because you cannot have dental work 2-3 months before surgery. I can't leave it like it is. Ack! Stupid thing came out whole, like the glue or whatever just gave out.
I like the Pop beauty Pouty Pop Crayon - lately I have been collecting all kind of these crayons from Revlon, Clinique, Sephora and other brands. I love them!

Thanks Rally. I too love the chubby lip pencils. Especially the staining ones like Revlon's. I am kind of stoked to try the microdermabrasion scrub too. :D

I really like it. It is sheerer than what it looks like in the crayon but it is a nice colour for summer.
