My LOTD...from last week (using the Winterberry palette)
This is the look that I wore on Valentine’s Day. I went
with a pink and purple smokey eye using the Coastal Scents Winterberry Palette.
Plus I just wanted to show off MAC Craving J
love that lipstick!
I used from the Winterberry Palette:
1 – Outer portion of lid (outer V)
2 – Inner portion of lid3 – blended out in crease
4 – lining under eye (smoked out)
5 – as a inner corner highlight
On the rest of my face;
- Urban Decay Primer Potion - original
- L'Oreal Infallible Eye Pencil
- Marcelle Xtension Mascara
- Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Glisten
- MAC Craving on lips
I find the Winterberry colours apply so-so. The pinks go
on a bit sheer but the grey and white went on pretty good. I actually had to
blend the down grey to ‘match’ with the soft look I was going for.
I have to remember to start taking more pictures of my
LOTDs. But it is so hard with the winter lighting. I usually do my makeup around
7:30am and the lighting sucks then. I took these pics in the afternoon in my
office. Which explains the little bit of fading and smearing in the outer eye
areas :O
Anyhow, I hope you guys have a great weekend! I plan on going to IKEA. I need a new desk J

ReplyDeleteAnd of course that Winterberry palette is just as pretty as I had imagined. The look you did is so soft and I love that hint of pink shimmer. I always forget to take pics at work because I also do my makeup in the early morning. I also don't have very good hand-eye coordination so I don't think I could even take a proper photo of myself!

DeleteWhen taking pictures of myself, I take about 40-50 pictures and usually there is two or three usuable ones. I suck at taking self potraits. My main problem is finding the right light and because of my neck issues, a good angle.
Its a little weird taking pictures at work. LOL somebody always walks by and wants to know what you are doing. I work with guys mostly so they do not get the whole beauty blog thing LOL.
