The bag is a pretty hot pink nylon bag. I really love it. Even the inside has a super cute pink print in it. Everything in the bag is very girly girl romantic which I am totally digging for some reason.

I was happy to see this pretty pink lip gloss in my bag. I haven’t really tested the staying power yet but it is a gorgeous shade of pink. It is actually a lot lighter than the colour of the tube but I like that it is has a bit of opaqueness to it. Perfect colour for Valentine’s Day!

Dot is from the Spring 2014 Awaken collection. Dot is a pale pink crème. I wasn’t able to swatch it as the bottle was slightly frozen and I was scared to fudge it up. I am letting it warm up gradually before playing around with it. I am so excited t get a Zoya polish from a new collection.

The colour I received was Violette. It is gorgeous shimmery violet purple. I was so suprised at how opaque it was. GORG! I swatched it below for you. It is so pretty. I couldn't wait to try it so I slapped some on right away! The swatch went on so smoothly and once this shadow set it was not going anywhere. As I sit here a couple hours later typing this, the swatch on my arm is still going strong. Even rubbing it hasn’t smudged it. Wow.

The lashes I received were the EL13s. These lashes are great for a subtle look. I like that these lashes have invisible bands. I hate thick bands. They always seem to ‘pop’ off in the corners on me. These EL13s remind me of my beloved Ardell Demi-Wispies. It is great that they have a latex free lash glue included. At $3.99, they seem priced pretty well.

June 2013 Ipsy NYX blush in Dare

I haven’t had a NYX blush in a long time. This is the first time I ever tried the Mosaic blushes. It contains five colors in the blusher. Although they are tiny, they probably could be tapped into to get the individual colors. I just swirled my brush in the whole pan and used all the colors to get a light peachy bronze. I am totally digging it!




June 2013 Ipsy J.Cat

This palette looks very pretty; all sparkly and such. But I am not sure how much use I will get out of it. I don’t wear glitter too much. I will give it a try. Yah never know...maybe there is a glitter diva inside me.... J. Cat Beauty has 11 sparkling cream palette available.





June 2013 Ipsy Starlooks

Tipsy is a pinky orange hue. It is pretty bright. I tried it alone with some nude lip gloss over it. The lip liner made every dry patch on my lips very noticeable soooo make sure you have baby smooth lips before applying this. I think this would be pretty good as a base for a hot pink lipstick. Also to note is that Starlooks also offers a monthly sub; Starbox $15/month. Canadians need to call their Customer Service department as shipping rates vary.





June 2013 Ipsy Chella Ivory Lace highlighter

I really like this highlighter. I remember thinking before who needs a separate pencil highlighter for your brows? But now I can see why. Applied on the underside of the brow makes your brow pop and look very clean.





June 2013 Ipsy Cailyn Eyeliner

I was truly impressed with this liner upon application. It went on very smoothly. I even used the built-in brush that came with it, which also surprised me. If you use the flat side you can get a thicker line and by turning the brush to the thin side you can achieve a sleek line. I have been wearing this liner all day and so far no smudging! Plus it is purple!!!
