Summer 2013 Luxe Box
Hi all how have you been? I hope you are all having a
great long weekend!
I have been pretty busy this past week. I am getting
ready for surgery...in two weeks O_O Yikes! There is a lot of stuff to get
ready beforehand. So my posts will be sparse for the next month or so as I prepare,
recover and do my physio therapy rehab. I will be around I just don’t know how
much time or energy I will have to prepare posts.
So let’s get on with what this post is really about! My
Summer 2013 Luxe Box. There were several options to choose from this round; LOU
LOU box, Wedding box, Fragrance box and Condition Culture box. I opted for the
regular seasonal box.
Of course the box came in the standard white box. I quite
like these boxes. They fit perfectly in my makeup table/desk as organizers. Everything
came wrapped in the white silky draw string bag. I always love the seasonal
Luxe Box presentation.
I haven’t really had a chance to try out these products
yet. The only products I have tried before is the Kerastase and Vitamine &
Sea samples from prior boxes. They were okay but not something I would go out
of my way to purchase.

Impact Mascara deluxe sample
Full size: $19.00 / 28ozKicks up the volume and length of each and every lash for a look that's lusher, plusher, bolder. Pure, deep colour only adds to the impact. Wear it once and you'll feel naked without it.
Barefoot Venus Hand Cream in Posh Peony deluxe sample
Full size: $5.99 / 60mLParaben free, new travel size, take me anywhere! When your skin is sending out an SOS that says "stop the flaking!", it's time to listen. Dry, chafed skin magically vanishes when a tried and true potion of macadamia nut oil, sesame seed oil and wheat germ oil starts to mollycoddle your needy skin.
This definitely smells like peonies. I only tried this out the day I got it but if felt pretty good.

It always nice to get full size! This didn’t have a price associated with it but I think I saw it at Walmart for $18. Don’t quote me on that as I just looked at in passing. I do like the packaging. Plus the interior contents remind me of a soft serve ripple ice cream cone HAHA. I am looking forward to testing this one out.

I tried this before and it was good. It did give me shiny hair but right now I am on a macadamia nut and Moroccan oil kick. I am obsessed with these right now.

Button Foundation Brush
This foundation brush works best by blending in

coverage.This paddle foundation brush seems to be a very nice quality. I don’t really use paddle type foundation brushes. I have two already that are just sitting there.
The Summer box was an alright box. Nothing really jumped
out at me to ‘try first’ other than the Barefoot Venus hand cream and maybe the
Olay CC Cream.
I am on the fence whether to keep subscribing. I don’t
like the fact that I always seem to be in the last wave of boxes that go out. That
kind of irks me LOL I know I know...petty problem. But Loose Button did send an
email a couple weeks ago that they had a collaboration in the works. Maybe I
will stick around and see what that it about.
