This past weekend, Shoppers Drug Mart had a mega point
redemption event. I redeemed 50,000 points which came out to $110 in free stuff!
I did get some other food and general stuff but the majority of my redemption
was beauty related.
For those that are wondering what Shoppers Drug Mart (SDM)
is; it is a big nationwide drug store chain that is sort of like CVS in the US.
When you shop at SDM, you collect ‘Optimum points’. Every so often SDM has
redemption events where the normal redemption point levels are bumped up so you
can get more loot!

I needed a good sunscreen for my face. I must have stood
there debating between the Ombrelle and the Neutrogena sunscreens for like 10
minutes. I went with Ombrelle because it is was hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic
and formulated for sensitive skin. I also had to pick up some of the L'Oreal Infallibe eyeshadows. The L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows are on sale all week for $6.99, in case anyone is interested.
I also got the waterproof version of the Revlon Lash Potion just because I wanted to see the difference in performance between the regular version (which I wasn’t impressed with) and the waterproof version. Previous review here.

And the other mascaras? Well I just have a problem LOL.
Almost everything I got was on sale already with the
exception of the Essence products. Did
any of my Canadian gals redeem this weekend too? I wanna see!!!
